Zinfandel Bicycle and Pedestrian Overcrossing (ZBPO) Call for Artists

The City of Rancho Cordova is committed to enhancing community spaces through innovative and engaging public art. The Zinfandel Bicycle and Pedestrian Overcrossing (ZBPO) is a key infrastructure project that will not only improve connectivity but also serve as a canvas for creative expression.

Art Opportunities Artists and artist teams from across the United States are invited to submit their qualifications to be considered for this landmark project. With three distinct sites available, this is an exciting opportunity to create art that will be experienced by pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers alike. Selected artists will be integral to shaping an iconic new City of Rancho Cordova landscape.

Project Funding The art components of ZBPO are fully funded, with significant budgets allocated for each of the three designated sites. The funding covers all aspects of the artwork, from design to installation, ensuring that the chosen pieces are of the highest quality and durability.
